Can I iron on my patch?
Yes! My patches are iron-on friendly. Just make sure you're applying them to cotton or denim (no synthetics or delicate fabrics), and follow the step-by-step guide above for best results.

Can I sew on the patch instead?
Definitely! Sewing is a great option if you're applying it to a fabric that doesn’t hold heat well, or if you just want extra security — especially for items that will be washed often.

What fabrics work best?
Cotton and denim are ideal. Avoid stretchy fabrics, synthetics, or delicate materials like silk or nylon. If you’re unsure, test a hidden corner first or go with the sew-on method.

Will the patch stay on after washing?
Yes, as long as it’s applied correctly. For extra durability, especially if you're washing often or using it on a high-friction area (like a backpack), I recommend sewing it down too.

Can I use an ironing board?
It’s best to use a hard, heat-safe surface (like a countertop with a towel on it). Ironing boards can be too soft, which may affect how well the patch sticks.

What if the edges lift up later?
You can re-iron it using the same steps — or sew around the edges to keep it locked in place for good.

How to Apply Your Iron-On Patch

➀ Check your fabric
Cotton or denim is ideal. Avoid synthetics, delicates, or stretchy materials.

➁ Pre-wash your garment
Do not use fabric softener, and make sure the fabric is fully dry before applying the patch.

➂ Preheat your iron
Set your iron to the Cotton / High setting. Do not use steam.

➃ Position your patch
Place your patch where you want it on the garment, face up.

➄ Iron the front side
Press firmly for 30–60 seconds on a clean, hard surface.

➅ Flip and iron the reverse side
Turn the garment inside out and press the back of the patch for another 30–60 seconds.

➆ Let it cool
Allow the patch to cool completely, then check to see if it’s secure. If needed, repeat steps ➄ and ➅.

✶ Tip: For extra hold or delicate fabrics, sew around your patch after ironing.
