Bored At Home
Luckily my wonderful talented boyfriend, Chris, is not only an artist but also a professional photographer and producer. (But don’t just take my word for it, feel free to check out his art at Higher Blend. ) He was wonderful enough to take some art studio pics for me.
If your boyfriend or girlfriend isn’t a photographer with a big camera, your friends and their iPhones are just as great! You might have to beg, but I’m sure they are willing to help you succeed on your creative entrepreneur journey. All you have to do is ask. If you don’t have anyone to ask? Then selfie mode that beast. When there’s a will there’s a way.
Artist Headshots
First things first, everyone needs a “headshot”. People like having a “face to the name.” Letting your followers, customers, (or whomever it might be,) see who you are, makes them feel more comfortable buying from you. If you’re on social media or have a website, you’ll want to add a photo of yourself. Why not spruce it up and include a photo or two of you!?!
Dress to Impress
Treat it like an actual photoshoot. What does that mean? Outfit changes! If you’re someone like me, who likes expressing themselves through their clothing style, then you’ll have fun with this! Wear that favorite outfit that you never get to wear because you’re always painting, crafting, etc.
Weapons of Mass Creation
This is where your photos can get a little more personalized. Grab the tool that you create with. It could be a paintbrush, camera, iPad, computer, guitar. The list goes on and on…
